Gabrielle Gelo is a former biology teacher with a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. She lives in Bandera, Texas with her husband of 39 years; they have two grown sons, Terence and Thomas. Gabrielle experienced the emotional and financial strain of long-term care first-hand, when a car accident left her disabled at home for 5 months, and again when her elderly mom needed 8 years of home care. Gabrielle joined ACSIA Partners, the nation’s largest agency dedicated to long term care planning solutions in 2009.
Gabrielle served on the boards of the San Antonio Association of Health Underwriters, Financial Planning Association of San Antonio, San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and Dementia Friendly Advisory Council. She teaches “Planning for Long Term Care” classes for local school districts, and has been a guest speaker on several radio programs. The State of Texas asked Gabrielle to share her long-term care story in a TV commercial that still airs on all the major Cable and TV networks.
