Describe your firm in your own words and the types of clients that you typically work with:

We work with physicians to help them understand all aspects of their financial planning and particularly how student loans might work into their planning. As with all firms, we’ve been referred to many executives, business owners, engineers and real estate investors as well.

How are you compensated for your work? List your compensation methods out in detail:
Monthly consulting fees, asset management fees and insurance commissions

What is the one standout detail about your firm that clients find with your firm that they have not found elsewhere?:

We are uniquely aware of student loan intricacies as well as extremely proficient and processing and designing personal insurance planning cases.

 

 

Dan Gray joined Axias Wealth Advisors in October 2019 but has been in the industry since 1991. Dan is a Wealth Advisor and CES (Certified Estate Specialist) who helps his clients organize the complexities of their finances with confidence. In his free time, Dan enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures and cuisine while researching his winemaking hobby.

Kayla Labate serves as the Director of Insurance Planning at Axias Wealth Advisors and was involved with the founding of Axias Wealth Advisors in 2019. With over a decade of experience in the insurance space, she brings a collaborative approach and expertise with each client relationship. In addition to insurance, Kayla can also be found working with operations or future education.

Chris Pfanstiel founded Axias Wealth Advisors after 10+ years at a larger company. He specializes in simplifying complex financial planning for clients with student debt, high tax rates, and/or other complicating matters. When not working, Chris enjoys physical fitness, a nice glass of wine and time with his family and friends.

Emma Chevalier is a Wealth Advisor at Axias Wealth Advisors and joined the team in May 2025. Emma has worked in financial planning for three years, starting in Chicago and recently relocating to Pittsburgh to partner with Axias. She graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with her finance and accounting degrees. In her free time, she enjoys reading, volunteering, traveling, and Pilates.

Sean Walsh is an Internal Planner and Analyst at Axias Wealth Advisors. He joined Axias in 2025 and helps support retirement planning and research/analysis. Outside of the office, you can find Sean on the golf course playing a round of golf.
